clients, interns, and even friends\u2014is what led me to become a psychologist. The truth is, it wasn\u2019t a single moment of clarity or a childhood dream. It has been, and continues to be, a deeply personal journey of self-discovery.<\/p><p>I began walking this path during one of the most painful and confusing periods of my life. I felt lost\u2014disconnected from myself, uncertain about who I was beneath the layers I had learned to wear. In that silence, I began to ask myself:<br \/>Who am I?<br \/>What truly defines me?<br \/>Is it the habits I\u2019ve built over time? The masks I\u2019ve learned to wear? The image others hold of me\u2014shaped by their judgments, projections, and expectations? Am I defined by my past\u2014my wrong turns, my addictions, my mistakes, my triumphs, and my pain? Or\u2026 am I simply someone who, like so many of us, has tried to hide away the most fragile, fearful parts of myself, hoping no one would see?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-35cd1cdc\" data-id=\"35cd1cdc\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-65e481cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"65e481cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Although I haven\u2019t found all the answers\u2014and perhaps never will\u2014sitting with these questions gently revealed something quiet yet steady beneath the surface: a presence. A part of me that simply watches, feels, listens\u2026 and exists. In the stillness, especially in moments of solitude\u2014when there was no one to impress, no roles to fulfil\u2014I began to catch glimpses of my truest self. And slowly, I started to understand that healing isn\u2019t a finish line to cross. It\u2019s a tender, lifelong journey of coming home to who we are, again and again.<\/p><p>If there\u2019s one thing I know with certainty, it\u2019s this: I am not perfect. I am still learning. Still unlearning. Still evolving. And that truth humbles me\u2014every single day, both as a human being and as a therapist.<\/p><p>This ongoing process of becoming continues to shape me. My past struggles, my insecurities, my missteps\u2014they haven\u2019t disappeared. They still live within me, but they no longer hold the same power. Instead, they serve as reminders: to stay grounded, to hold space with empathy, and to meet others not from a place of knowing better, but from a place of walking alongside.<\/p><p>I believe counselling is not merely about fixing what feels broken. It\u2019s about holding sacred space for the full, complex spectrum of human experience\u2014pain and joy, fear and courage, shame and resilience. In every story shared within my therapy space, I find new wisdom, new understanding. Each person who walks through my door becomes a teacher in their own way.
